In setting up the basic structure of this site (2008/9) all known miniature bottle sites were trawled for photos. These were, if necessary, cropped, resized and enhanced. If a better photo was found later this was substituted. This substitution will never stop. Hundreds of photos were added that had been collected over the years from Ebay and from both published and non-published sources.

In addition other non-web based sources were scanned, especially notable being most issues of Miniature Bottle Collector magazine. We worked on the basis that any photo, even a black & white one, is better than none. We acknowledge the initial contibution of all these sources, some unknown, some known, but who are too numberous to mention. Many of the sites are linked from relevant pages in MBL.
